We are right in the middle of our busy basketball season. Trey plays school basketball which is during November and December. They play teams similar size to Echo. They won all of the games they played during the regular season and almost all of them were not close. After a couple of weeks off, they start AAU. During AAU they play bigger schools and they travel more. We are at tourneys most everyweekend. Its a lot of time spent on the road, but we will probably miss it when its over. This past weekend it started with a tourney in Pendleton. They went 2-2 but made the winners bracket. They beat Clarkston and Hermiston, but lost to Pendleton and EKU (all star team) Pretty good for our small town kids.
Your small town kids make a great team! The Clarkston game was fun to watch and competitive, and winning by only one point in the last few seconds always makes a game interesting. Congratulations, and Trey does a great job!
